Refund policy
Returns & Exchanges:
We will exchange, replace, or refund any within 15 days of order delivery. Items must be returned in original, undamaged, unused, condition.

Limited Lifetime Warranty:
Novel Carry warranties the following products for a lifetime to be free from workmanship or material defects for the original owner. Damage occurring from misuse and abuse will void the warranty.

- Gearling
- SlideKick V1
- Axial Pen
Dislike of pattern or texture of finished product:
We do not offer refunds if a customer is unhappy with the grain/pattern/texture of a finished product. Many of the materials that we work with are not homogeneous and therefore the pattern of material after we finish processing is unpredictable. If a customer is unhappy with the finished product, we will create a second set of the same or similar material billing for the cost of material only. The original set must be returned prior to a replacement set being shipped.
Order cancelation policy
Novel Carry will allow an order to be canceled any time prior to shipment. For orders that require the purchase of materials (custom or semi-custom) or shipment of a customer's knife to our shop, the total refund amount will be equal to the original order less any shipping and material costs incurred in the processing of the order.
We do not allow order cancelations of pre-order items as these require significant investment to fund after the initial order is placed.
Shipment Protection:
Shipment protection covers only the items in an eligible order for which protection was selected at checkout. Items added to an order without shipment protection selected are not covered under any circumstances.
In the event that a covered item is lost or damaged during transit, the customer may be eligible for a refund or replacement of the affected item(s) at our discretion. Coverage applies solely to loss or damage that occurs during the shipping and transit process.
To initiate a claim, submit a request to hi@novelcarry.com within 14 days of the confirmed delivery date. Claims for delivered orders submitted outside of this window will not be processed.
For shipments with no confirmed delivery, claims will not be processed until 30 days have elapsed since the most recent carrier transit scan. Only after this period will a shipment be considered lost and the claim eligible for processing.
During the claim process, the customer must complete an affidavit which is supplied by Novel Carry or its shipping partners. Claims submitted without an affidavit will not be processed. We reserve the right to investigate all claims prior to issuing a refund or replacement.
Shipment protection does not cover damage resulting from delays in delivery, or losses due to incorrect shipping information provided by the customer.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue shipment protection at any time.
