What “Pro” Means (Reinforced Threads)
Pro = Metal Thread Reinforcement
Pro indicates the slider includes a metal thread plate to reinforce the threads. This is used on non-metal body materials to give extra confidence during tinkering and reconfiguration.
Metal-bodied sliders (such as aluminum or titanium) do not require reinforcement because they are already using metal threads.
Pro Does Not Change Compatibility
Pro is a feature tag. It does not change family sizing.
Echo Ergo Tile and Echo Ergo Pro Tile both use Echo plates and Echo cassettes. The Pro version simply adds reinforced threads.
Quick “How Do I Shop?” Checklist
- Start with the family. Match Mini/Delta/Echo/Standard to your current slider.
- Pick a style. Tile, Ergo, and other styles change the shape, not compatibility.
- Decide on Pro. If you want reinforced threads (commonly for non-metal bodies), choose Pro when available.
- Choose plates and cassettes from the same family. Mix and match within the family freely.
