How It Works
- Order the service. On this page, enter the exact text you'd like engraved (name, initials, date, or short message) in the personalization field, up to [20] characters. Add to cart.
- Send us your clip or pen. Once your order is placed, ship either your Axial's clip alone or the full pen, whichever is easier for you, to the address below.
- We engrave it. Our team laser engraves your clip in-house in Charlotte.
- We ship it back. Domestic return shipping is included in the cost of this service. International orders, see the note below.

Do I need to send the whole pen, or just the clip?
Whichever is easier for you. If you send just the clip, package it securely so it doesn't shift around or get damaged in transit.
Is return shipping included?
Yes, for domestic orders. International orders add a flat $15 once your engraving is complete and ready to ship back.
How long does the engraving take?
Plan on [3-5 business days] from the day we receive your clip or pen, plus return transit time.
What can I have engraved?
A name, initials, a date, or a short message, up to [20] characters. The more characters, the smaller the text will be on the clip.

An enjoyable fidget pen for your desk or office. Slightly top (back) heavy due to design.
This is my first high end pen and I love it. You can tell such craftsmanship went into designing and machining this pen, it feels excellent in your hand. Strong pocket clip to keep it from falling out of your pocket, easy to find refills, and the spinner is the big draw for me. As a fidget collector I always have something on me and need a pen so why not combine the two of them! Plus, it's made by my favorite edc gear company, was a no brainer for me. The Axial ensures I will always have a piece of Novel Carry with me no matter what and love it for that. Paired with my Echo slider from them it's all I need to get through the day. Love it a lot and hope it will last a lifetime, no need for other pens for me.
For the past 8+ years I have been carrying a Tactile Turn bolt action pen. I didn't hesitate for a second when I saw Novel Carry had a Pen kickstarter. Now after I received my pen, I my intuition was spot on. This is a great pen and a great fidget all in one. If i walk into a conference room and realizeI didn't throw a fidget in my pocket. I'm still good to go. It's nearly silent and easy. You wont regret the purchase.
I backed this project because I loved the idea of combining a pen and a fidget toy into one product, and it definitely didn't disappoint. The bolt action is smooth, the spinner has surprisingly good feedback, and the Black Wash finish looks fantastic.
The weight is just right for both writing and fidgeting. I also received the limited brass bead, which was a nice bonus. I can't wait to carry and spin this pen at work every day.

Man, I don't like being the first 4-star. The pen design and spinner are amazing, and I can't recommend Novel Carry enough! But since it is a pen, I have to rate the writing too. It's likely I got a bad ink fill, but it's not writing consistently even after many circles to try and get the ink to come out smooth. Other than that small issue, it's a perfect fidget spinner pen!

This is my third fidget pen. Honestly I have no idea where the other two are! They just didn't scratch my fidgeting itch! This one has two options for fun! Quiet enough for meetings and stealth enough so that I don't draw attention to myself lol. Surprisingly it writes soooooo good! Feels great in any sized hand. Can't say enough good things about it!
I have an Axial pen as a Kickstarter investor. I love it! It looks great. Writes great. Spins great. The spinner had incredible bearings. With a flick of my thumb, it spins and spins. The bolt action of the pen is very satisfying. At $115, this pen is definitely a luxury item. But it is worth every penny and, when others see it, it's a conversation piece.
